AWS, Microsoft und Google bieten jeweils weit über 100 Cloud-Dienste an. Es ist schon schwer genug, den Überblick über das Portfolio eines einzelnen Anbieters zu behalten. Umso komplizierter ist es, alle Produkte der drei großen Anbieter zu kennen.

Selbst der Versuch, zu vergleichen, was in den einzelnen Cloud-Umgebungen verfügbar ist, kann schnell unübersichtlich werden, da die Namenskonventionen je nach Anbieter und Dienst variieren. So ist es zum Beispiel nachvollziehbar, wenn Sie nicht wissen, dass AWS Fargate, Microsoft Azure Container Instances und Google Cloud Run im Grunde alle den gleichen Zweck erfüllen.

Sie können es aber auch als Ausgangspunkt verwenden. Sie müssen Ihre Hausaufgaben machen, um ein differenziertes Verständnis dafür zu bekommen, was die Angebote voneinander unterscheidet. Das liegt daran, dass nicht alle Dienste gleich sind – jeder hat seinen eigenen Satz an Funktionen und Möglichkeiten, und die Funktionalität kann sich von Plattform zu Plattform stark unterscheiden.
