Empowering developer velocity and efficiency with Kubernetes

In today’s environment, customers are looking to Azure and Kubernetes to enable application platforms and patterns that make it faster to build new applications and easier to iterate the applications that they’ve already built. Kubernetes on Azure is a reliable and secure foundation for this cloud-native application development. At the same time, the pressures of the current environment mean that it is also critical to be as efficient as possible and we are excited to see the ways that the Azure Kubernetes Service has empowered people to improve their operational and resource efficiency

Top 10 performance tuning techniques for Amazon Redshift

Subsequent queries referencing the materialized views run much faster because they use the pre-computed results stored in Amazon Redshift, instead of accessing the external tables.
Tip #1: Precomputing results with Amazon Redshift materialized views Materialized views can significantly boost query performance for repeated and predictable analytical workloads such as dash-boarding, queries from BI tools, and extract, load, transform (ELT) data processing.

Unlocking value: Four lessons in cloud sourcing and consumption

The very flexibility that cloud provides means that enterprises must continuously make dynamic consumption decisions about which services and specifications are needed when and for how long.
The flexibility to consume cloud as needed and cost effectively places responsibility on enterprises to maintain a real-time view of their needs and continuously make deliberate decisions on how best to adjust consumption.
